An impeller for a centrifugal feed device, especially a radial fan wheel for auxiliary units on internal combustion engines comprises blades fixed to the impeller and adjustable additional blades. In order to reduce the power input and the noise emission at high speeds in an impeller designed for low speeds, the additional blades are arranged between the blades fixed to the impeller as centrifugally controlled restrictor elements of the flow cross-section. The additional blades are preferably designed as tongues of a flexurally elastic material and fixed to the blades fixed on the impeller in such a way that the tongues are aligned with their free part towards the inside of the wheel.
