The invention relates to a connection of two profiled rails (34, 40), in particular a shower partition, the first profiled rail (34) having, between two webs (6, 8), an opening (9), extending over the entire length, and an inside space (10) in which a clamping element (12) is arranged. Engaging in a thread (14) of the clamping element (12) is a screw (24) by means of which one limb (20) of the second profiled rail (40) can be clamped between two resting surfaces. This connection is to be developed further to the effect that, on the one hand, a reliable connection of the two profiled rails is provided and, on the other hand, the distance from a frame profile or the like can be adjusted. It is proposed as a solution that the second profiled rail (40) is arranged with its longitudinal axis substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the first profiled rail (34), that a support element (38) which has the other resting surface (17) for the limb (20) is present in the inside space (10), and that the support element (38) has a bore (44) with an internal thread in which an adjusting screw (46) engages which is connected to a frame profile (48) or the like. <IMAGE>
