PURPOSE:To produce an almost homogeneous semifrozen feed in a short time preventing the partial oxidation, degradatioi and deterioration of the semifrozen feed and the loss of vitamin B1, C, etc., by stirring only a frozen feed, and heating the feed under air flow sent by a blower. CONSTITUTION:Preparatorily crushed frozen feed is stirred with a stirring apparatus 1, and is heated in the stirring apparatus with air sent by the blower 2 to obtain a semifrozen feed. The above semifrozen feed stirred in the stirring apparatus is mixed with an assorted feed with a mixing apparatus 3. The mixed feed discharged from the mixing apparatus 3 is formed with the forming apparatus 4, and at the same time the above apparatuses are driven by the driving apparatus 5. An almost homogeneous semifrozen feed can be prepared by this process in a short time, preventing the partial oxidation, degradation and deterioration of the semifrozen feed, and the loss of vitamin B2, C, etc. Since a pipe for the heating of the stirring apparatus is unnecessary in the present process, the structure of the stirring apparatus can be simplified, and the washing of the apparatus can be faciliated. |
