PURPOSE:To enable stable printing action free from slippage by actuating each printing hammer in a specific delay time in a line printer which prints while giving a head an asynchromesh traverse motion. CONSTITUTION:Each printing hammers D1-Dn of a line printer receives a print drive timing signal M1-M9 having a delay time corresponding to a head bank speed from a timing when said printing hammers D1-Dn exist at a certain distance from certain dot positions G1-G9 to be printed. The print drive timing signals will be reference timing for print drive. As a result, no slippage will occur even if the head bank performed an asynchromesh motion. |
