PURPOSE:To improve the brake performance by providing a guide duct which communicates with heated portions of a disk boss or coil of an eddy current brake device to cool the portions. CONSTITUTION:Guide ducts 7 are formed in the lower portion of a box 5 for containing an eddy current brake device. The duct 7 receives traveling wind P from a guide plate 8 secured over the front and rear ends of a vehicle in the traveling direction, and blows air from the hole of a bent intermediate portion A crept at the upside of an axle 1 to cool disk boss 3a and poles 6. Notches 9a, 120a are formed on the upper and lower surfaces 9, 10 of the plate 8 to blow the wind P along the disk 3 to efficiently cool the boss 3a. |
