PURPOSE:To prevent the total system-down by allowing a main central processing unit to supervise a sub-central processing unit for communication control, and resetting the sub-central processing unit when the data transmission is not finished within a prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:A reception program is changed by the channel selection operation in a terminal receiver 3 and when a data to be transmitted is generated in a broadcast center 2, a channel selection data is transmitted from the main central controller 5 to a RAM11. When a polling signal from the broadcast center is received, an input/output device 14 transmits the channel selection data to the broadcast center 2. When the generation of an abnormal carrier is detected via an input/output device 12, the main central controller 5 supplies a reset signal to an AND gate circuit 16 via the input/output controller 12. As a result, the sub-central processing unit 6 is reset in the same state as if the transmission is finished apparently. |
