The coffee maker has a reservoir which is joined to a heating block by a pump. A distribution organ (10) connects the reservoir to the heating block or connects the heating block to a draining pipe. It has one hole (22) which connects with the heating block and a hole (30) which connects to the draining pipe. A slide (40) moves in the organ and has a stud (44) on one end round which there is an airtight joint (43). This moves between a position in which it closes the first hole and a position in which it opens this hole. USE - For preparing hot drinks and mainly for espresso coffee.
