The adjustment of the rucksack is found by a harness (20) which has a belt (21) and two shoulder straps (30,31). The belt has a vertical foot (25) fixed to its central part (24). The lower ends of the straps (32,33) are fixed to the belt and their upper ends are joined by a strap (35) which forms a tunnel. The free end of the foot (26) is slid into the tunnel. The outer surface of the strap has graduations which cooperate with curved lines (27,28,29) on the outer surface of the foot. The ideal position of the rucksack can be read.
