摘要 An arrangement for electrical contact making and current interruption in a vacuum under the influence of a self-excited magnetic field parallel to the arc is intended to be reduced in terms of its structural height in comparison with known constructions. In addition, the resistance of the exciter contact arrangement is intended to be reduced and its mechanical strength with respect to large current forces increased. For this purpose, current conductors 2, to which concentric winding sections 1 are connected, are arranged on a central current conductor 3. The winding sections extend to beyond the front region of the next radial current conductor along the circumference. A gap remains free in between, which can also be filled with an electrically poorly conductive material or with an insulating layer. Contact and electrode bodies 5 are connected to the winding sections via rectangular attachments 4. The radial current conductors 2 and the contact and electrode bodies 5 are located in parallel planes within the space which is bounded by the winding sections 1. <IMAGE>
