A capillary dialyser has as a rule a tubular housing (1) and a bundle of capillaries (2) which are fixed therein at both ends by an embedding compound (3) and are sealed from one another and from the housing and which each end in a front face (4) which are each adjoined by an inflow or outflow chamber (8, 9) for the blood. Between the embedding compounds (3), a dialysate chamber with two connections on the housing side is provided around the capillaries (2). At least one of the two end faces (4) of embedding compound (3) and capillaries (2) is provided with a coating (15).
