PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized correcting device by shifting a correcting cutter after the size of the curvature of a guide members and correcting the machining surface of a grindstone. CONSTITUTION:A pair of guide members 21, 22 guiding the slide of a correcting cutter 32 of a ginrdstone are curved, the correcting cutter 32 is shifted after the size of the curvature of these guide members 21, 22 to correct the machining surface 4a of the grindstone 4. Accordingly, by correcting the machining surface 4a of the grindstone 4, a small-sized correcting device can be obtained with a simple structur and only the chamfering of both side edges of the machining surface 4a of the grindstone 4 can be performed. |
