PURPOSE:To detect the speed having high resolution and high noise resistance by mounting a disk coupled directly with a motor shaft and having a pattern for detecting a rotating speed, and detecting the pattern of the disk by a light. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 9 is mounted oppositely to a stator 10, and a slit-shaped pattern disk 12 is further mounted on a motor shaft. The light from an optical fiber is led to a light emitting unit 13a to illuminate the disk 12. The light modulated by the slit of the disk 12 is received by a photoreceptor 13b, and fed through an optical fiber to a motor controller. The rotating speed is detected by the controller to control the drive voltage of the motor in the prescribed speed. |
