A cross-country ski binding for cross-country ski boots has a front end of the sole which is extended forwards and designed as a hook open towards the underneath, with a cross-piece (28) intended to interact with the hook and mounted in lateral jaws (30) which extend upwards from a baseplate (26) to be mounted in a fixed position on the ski, the web (29) of a U-shaped shackle being provided, according to Patent Application P 3406439, to secure the front end of the sole against lifting off the cross-piece (28), the legs of which are mounted at their free ends on the cross-piece (28), and which is subject to the influence of a spring (31) stressing it towards the ski boot. In this arrangement, the shackle is designed as a crank arm and is connected via a pivot pin to a pusher member (33), which is longitudinally displaceable and pivotable relative to the baseplate (26). Provided on the pusher member (33) is a locking lever (40) which has a securing hook (41). Furthermore, the baseplate (26) has a counter-hook (42) intended to interact with the securing hook (41), and the locking lever (40) is stressed by a retaining spring (43) in the direction of unlocking. <IMAGE> |
