PURPOSE:To improve an aptitude of a thermal head, in a heat-sensitive recording material possessing a coloring layer comprised of a micro-capsule containing an electron-donating dye precursor and an emulsion of a developer and is superior in transparency. CONSTITUTION:In a heat-sensitive recording material which is obtained by providing a heat-sensitive recording layer containing a microcapsule containing an electron-donative due precursor and in emulsion of a developer allowing the electron-donative dye precursor to color on a substrate on which a protective layer is provided, higher fatty acid or a pigment which is surface-treated by its metallic salt is contained within the protective layer. |
