PURPOSE:To secure the recording of the contents for different displays onto one sheet of paper by providing the means which divides the recording region of the recording paper and then designating the specified region into the divided regions to print the contents of the display device. CONSTITUTION:When recording paper 1 is divided into four regions, for example, A, B, C and D respectively, position sensors X1, X2, Y1 and Y2 are distributed to detect (17) print starting point (a) of region A via X1 and Y1. In the same way, print starting points (b), (c) and (d) are decided for each region. After point (a) is detected via print position designation switch 22 with output of print pulse x1 and y1, paper 1 is shifted in the direction of main scanning Y, for example, by 20mm, and the ink jetting head is moved, for example, by 30mm in the direction of secondary scanning X. Then the print start signal is generated from print position designation circuit 21. The contents of CRT display 10 is printed in the Y direction on paper 1, and the jetting head is set in the X direction to generate the prescribed print pulse. Thus, the printing is finished in region A. In the same way, the printing can be given in region B, C and D, thus increasing the using efficiency of the recording paper. |
