PURPOSE:To provide a variable length protector and a length changing method, moldable with one mold and capable of accurately changing its length. CONSTITUTION:This is a variable length protector 15 molded in one united body in which its intermediate portion in longitudinal direction is cut for providing a reducible length and is equipped with a cutting portion 17 provided at the intermediate portion in longitudinal direction and a linking portion 19 for linking the front and rear of the cutting portion after cutting off, which is located at the front and rear of the cutting portion 17. In this method of changing the length of the protector 15 molded in one united body, the intermediate portion in the longitudinal direction is cut off and the ends are jointed together after cutting off thereby reducing the length. |
