PURPOSE:To hold surely front caps which can hold a core during the stoppage of a die by providing the front caps to the end of a rotating body and disposing engaging members which engage the front caps to the rotating body. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical part 24 is provided through the inside of supports 19A, 18B to the rotating body 11 and the front caps 13A, 13B are disposed via front cap attaching parts 25A, 25B to both ends of the part 24. The plural engaging members 29 are provided to the circumferential edge at the opening end of the die 1 in a centrifugal casting machine 28. The members 29 are disposed oscillatably around pins 309. The body 11 is thoroughly disconnected from the supports 19A, 19B by a spring 23 and a lever 16 when a hydraulic cylinder is actuated to move an arm 3 so as to approach the die 1. A push ring 35 is also spaced from the members 29. The front cap 13A is surely held to the die 1 by such core setter. |
