The fluidising bed contains dispersed, calcined limestone, and the bio pulp is pyrolysed under the effect of reactor heat to form tar-mixed gas and charcoal. On flowing upwards in the reactor shaft, the tar is gasified in a heterogeneous catalytic reaction with the limestone and charcoal, and the stone is sepd. from the gas at the top of the shaft, being then fed back to the fluidising bed for combustion. |
