The assembly comprises a housing adapted to be fixed inside a space to house a body containing a radio receiver or the like. The housing is secured in the desired position, and at least one door is provided to close a front opening of the housing. An electric motor is adapted to cause rotation of a shaft carrying a cam. An arrangement connects the body and the door to close the door when the body is in one position and to open it when in a second position. The electric motor is adapted to cause the translation of the body by means of a pin sliding in a slot. A self-lubricant material is provided between the body and the housing and the cam serves to cause the operation of a switch to control power to the motor. The self-lubricant material is in the form of two bands encircling the body. A number of folding tangs may be adapted to define a reference surface to the housing as regards the space. |
