发明名称 OPTICAL DELAY EQUIPMENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of an optical fiber connecting work by making a ray transmitted through an optical fiber indicent in two flat reflecting mirros, receiving the ray reflected by both the reflecting mirros and transmitting it again to the optical fiber so as to adjust the optical transmission length formed between both the flat reflecting mirrors thereby applying correction of an optical path length. CONSTITUTION:An open leg angle of support metal fixtures 14A, 14B is adjusted to alpha as shown in figure and the distance between the flat reflecting mirrors 10 and 11 is to alpha as shown in the figure. In this case, the ray (optical signal) (a) from an optical fiber cable connected to an optical cable is made incident in the flat reflecting mirror 10 at an angle shown in the figure and reflected once in the reflecting mirror 10 and received by an optical connector 15B. The ray (a) received by the optical connector 15B is transmitted through an optical fiber connected thereto. Thus, the propagation path length of the ray (a) is increased by the optical delay equipment nearly be twice the distance (l) or more. In adjusting the distance (l) between the flat reflecting mirrors 10, 11 by turning a grip 14 after the open leg angle of the support metal fixtures 14A, 14B to alpha, the length of the optical propagation path of the delay equipment is adjusted minutely.
