发明名称 MECHANISM FOR APPLYING VOLTAGE TO ELECTRO-OPTICAL CRYSTAL BODY
摘要 PURPOSE:To apply voltage to an electro-optical crystal body with high reliability by holding the crystal body between metallic blocks for applying voltage, putting an elastic conductor on the interface between each of the blocks and the crystal body, and uniting them to one body. CONSTITUTION:The electro-optical crystal body 1 is a rectangular solid and has electrodes 1a, 1b on two confronting sides. Metallic blocks 2, 3 have planes 2a, 3a corresponding to the surfaces of the electrodes, respectively. The crystal body 1 is held between the blocks 2, 3, and sheetlike electrically conductive rubber 4, 5 is put on the interface between each of the blocks 2, 3 and the crystal body 1 to form a piled body in which the planes 2a, 3a of the blocks 2, 3 are in close contact with the electrode surfaces 1a, 1b, respectively. The piled body is fastened tightly with a desired holder 6. The rubbers 4, 5 are compressed on the interfaces and produce a satisfactory contact state by the elasticity restoring force. At the same time, the rubbers make the fastening with the holder 6 perfect. By this mechanism, voltage is applied with high reliability.
