PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a special mechanism for setting the number of copies and to provide the simplification and reduction in cost of a setting mechanism by setting the number of the times when a copy key is operated in prescribed time as the number of copies. CONSTITUTION:A copy key 5 signal, a clear key 6 signal and a copying operation end signal are impressed to a microcomputer 10 having CPU, RAM, ROM, clock generator, etc. Control signals are impressed from the microcomputer 10 to a counter 11 for the number of copies, a counter 12 for remaining paper quantity and a display device 13 for the number of copies and further a copying operation start signal is outputted from the microcomputer 10. The number of the operations of the copy key 5 in the prescribed time is thus set as the number of copies, by which the need for the special mechanism for setting the number of copies is eliminated and the simplification and reduction in cost of the mechanism for setting the number of copies are made possible. |
