PURPOSE:To operate a turbine most economically, safely and smoothly and thereby make the cost of power generation ever so inexpensive, by monitoring a steam quantity flowing into a condensor, while letting the irreducible minimal steam required flow in the condenser all the time, and controlling it so as to make the steam quantity a constant value. CONSTITUTION:A steam quantity flowing into a condenser (at the side of a low-pressure turbine) is detected by a valve lift detector 1 attached to an extraction valve 12, comparing this detected value with the setting value and operating it with an operator 2, and when a signal value gets out of the setting value, a signal is transmitted to a governor motor 4 from a control unit 3 connected to the operator 2, moving a govenor, and output of a turbine is altered. With this alteration, the steam quantity flowing into the condensor is controlled so as to cause it to become a constant value without altering pressure of the extraction steam flowing in a process. In order to make this operation safely and smoothly, protector devices 5, 5' and 5'' are built in the control unit, and a warning signal is given forth according to circumstances and locking takes place. Therefore, energy-saving operation is achievable and, what is more, the cost of power generation is reducible. |
