SUSPENSION FOR A SLIDING AND PIVOTING VEHICLE DOOR

The invention relates to a pivoting/sliding-door suspension for vehicles with a telescopic guide rail which carries the door leaf and which can pivot out of the body plane by means of parallelogram connecting rods which are suspended on a carrier of the vehicle roof via bend-resistant bearings. In previously known pivoting/sliding-door suspensions, it has been shown that there are considerable difficulties in adjusting the door equipped with this suspension in the vehicle body which is not distortion-free. To simplify installation and adjustment, the parallelogram connecting rods 20, 28 are connected to the outer telescopic guide rail 3 via vertically adjustable ball joints 16, 19.
