PURPOSE:To assure exact detection by disposing temp. detectors and heaters on the measuring gas side and standard gas side near a detecting element and making the heaters controllable by the outputs from the temp. detectors. CONSTITUTION:The element 3 for detecting hydrogen or steam quantity is disposed in an atmosphere measuring gas chamber 1. The temp. detectors 4a, 4b and the heaters 6a, 6b are disposed on the measuring gas side and standard gas side near the terminals 3a, 3b for measuring the electromotive force of the element 3. The signals from the detectors 4a, 4b are supplied via electronic circuits 5a, 5b to the control circuits 8a, 8b of the heaters 6a, 6b. The heaters 6a, 6b are so controlled that the gas is heated by the heaters 6a, 6b to maintain the gas at the activation temp. or above when the temp. of the gas is low and that the temps. of the detectors 4a, 4b coincide with each other when said temps. are different. |
