Removal device for use in splitting machines for hides, characterised in that it comprises a wedge (1) disposed immediately downstream of the machine (11) to lift the hair side of the hide as far as a conveyor line (2) which removes it from said machine with the aid of series of free-running toothed drums (12, 13) suitable for keeping the hides pressed against the aforesaid line and conveying them to a receptacle (6), thereby enabling automation of the operations of stacking the hides in said receptacle.</p> |
