PURPOSE:To enable simultaneous determination of chemical shift and space information in an expedited manner, by rearranging a measured signal obtained by inversion of a magnetic gradient field for each expiration time of application of the magnetic gradient field and Fourier transformation of said rearranged data. CONSTITUTION:A sequencer 12 transmits various commands to different apparatuses under the commands of a CPU11. As HF wave electric current pulses are modified for amplitudes under said commands by a signal transmitter 13 and supplied to an HF coil 134, an HF magnetic field is applied to an object 20. A magnetic gradient field generator system 16, according to a command of the sequencer 12, applies gradient magnetic fields Gx, Gy, Gz of x, y, z directions to the object 20. Responses by these magnetic field applications are received 14 by a coil 134 and data subjected to sampling by a timing under the command of the sequencer 12 are transmitted to a signal processing system 17. In the signal processing system 17. Fourier transformation and image reconstruction, etc. are conducted and signal intensity distribution in any section and distribution obtained by proper calculation on a plurality of signals are visualized and displayed in a CRT display 171. |
