摘要 PURPOSE:To easily settle and change the track of an unmanned carrier car and, at the same time, to simplify the constitution of the track, by constituting the track by adjacently connecting a belt-like high reflecting body and belt-like low reflecting body and detecting the deviation of the unmanned car from the track from the change in the reflecting light from the track received by a photoelectrically converting section facing the track. CONSTITUTION:A track 15 is formed on a floor 12, on which an unmanned carrier car 11 is run by adjacently connecting a reflecting tape 13 which is a belt- like high reflecting body and non-reflecting tape 14 which is a belt-like low reflecting body so as to form one belt. A photoelectrically converting section 19 is provided at the bottom of the frame 21 of the unmanned car 11 so that the section 19 can face the track 15 and equipped with a photoelectrically converting body, such as silicon diode, etc. The section 19 detects reflecting light from the track 15 and sends an electric signal corresponding to the quantity of the reflecting light. When, for example, the unmanned carrier car 11 runs under the condition shown in Fig. b, the output from the converting section 19 is almost the same as a set value and nothing is outputted and, therefore, the car 11 runs under the present steering condition. When the car 11 deviates as shown in Fig. a, a negative output is sent and a motor 33 is driven so as to turn the wheel of the car 11 leftward. When the car 11 deviates as shown in Fig. c, the opposite operation is made and the car 11 is returned to the condition of Fig. b.
