PURPOSE:To enhance durability and humidity resistance of an electrophotographic sensitive body by forming a photosensitive layer contg. a resin having repeating units represented by a specified general formula on a substrate to prepare the electrophotographic sensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is obtained by forming on the substrate comprised of a cylinder on film, etc. made of a metal such as aluminum, stainless steel, and paper, plastics, or the like, the photosensitive layer contg. a resin having repeating units each represented by the formula in which R1 is H, halogen, alkyl, phenyl, or cyclohexyl; R2 is H or methyl; m is an integer of 1-5; and n is a positive integer. In the case of a function separated type photosensitive body, the photosensitive layer is composed of an electrostatic charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer. An undercoat layer having a barrier function and an adhesion function may be formed on said substrate. |
