ANTISTATIC POLYMER COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To provide a composition having remarkably improved antistatic property under a low-humidity condition without lowering the physical properties of the base resin, by compounding a thermoplastic polymer with a specific nitrogen-containing organic compound and a specific vinyl polymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be prepared by compounding (A) a thermoplastic polymer with (B) 0.05-10wt% one or more compounds selected from the compounds of formula I -formula III [R is 6-26C hydrocarbon residue; R' is H or lower alkyl; p, q and r are 1-100; n is 1-4; X1-X5 are H or (CH2)m COO<->; m is 1-3; one of X1 and X2 is (CH2)mCOO<->; M is alkaline earth metal ion; M' is metal other than alkali metal or H; s and t are the valence of the metal] and (C) a vinyl polymer containing 3-90mol% monomer unit composed of a vinyl-containing unsaturated sulfonic acid or its salt.
