PURPOSE:To obtain the head device which consists of a small number of components and is reduced in cost, and further has uniform characteristics by supporting a head element which records and reproduces information on and from a recording medium by conductive members which connect the head element of the outside of the device electrically. CONSTITUTION:The 2nd arm 4 supported at the upper side in a free rocking state is molded in one body, and respective conductive materials 11 are formed of an elastic onductive materials, arranged in parallel at specific intervals in the lengthwise direction of the arm 4, and implanted penetrating the arm 4. The center part of the rear end projection part of each conductive material 11 is clamped fixedly between the top surface of a carriage 1 and a pressure plate 10 for fixation which is fixed to the top surface with a screw 12, and the arm 4 is supported on a cantilever basis in a free rocking state through respective elastic conductive materials 11. Further, a terminal 7a of the winding 7 of the magnetic head 6 is connected to the tip of each conductive material 11 and a terminal 9a of an external lead wire 9 is connected to the other terminal, thereby connecting the winding 7 and external lead wire 9 mutually through respective conductive materials 11. Consequently, variance is contact pressure, etc., between the magnetic head 6 and a magnetic disk 7 is small and respective products have uniform characteristics. |
