PURPOSE:To simplify constitution and to improve operativity and precision of assembly by forming a film for circularity correction on the abutting surface part of at least either of the engagement part of a rotating body to which a magnetic head is fitted and the engagement part of a base which engages the engagement part of the rotary body. CONSTITUTION:When the upper drum 11 of the magnetic head device is fitted to the lower drum 10, the engagement part 15 of a flange 13 supported on the lower drum 10 is engaged with the engagement hole 19 of the upper drum 11 an screws 22 and 22 are screwed in through screw holes 17 and 17 of a control part through holes 20 and 20 of the upper drum 11. Films 21 on abutting surface parts of the engagement hole 19 of the upper drum 11 and engagement part 15 of the flange 13 are left where a gap is formed and peeled off where they abuts on each other. Thus, the circularity of the upper drum 11 is corrected during engagement with the film 21 and the drum is driven to rotate together with the flange 13 in one body. Thus, the film 21 is provided to one abutting surface part to facilitate the centering during assembly. |
