<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of data to be transmitted and to improve the printing speed of a typewriter printing device, by previously storing fixed data sections of slips in a storage section, to which the typewriter printing device is connected, and transmitting variable data sections only from a computer. CONSTITUTION:A computer 12 reads out the fixed section data of a slip previously stored in a storage section 17 and displays the data to a typewriter printing device 14. Upon receiving the variable section data of the slip transmitted from another computer 11 through a transmitting circuit 13, the typewriter printing device 14 prints the variable section data. Therefore, the data of the variable section is only allowed to transmit, as a result, the time required for printing the slip can be shortened.</p> |
