<p>The gauge contains two load sensors on the in- and outlet side of the first-mentioned stand, to scann a force acting onto the roller bearing block. The tension gauge supplies an output value of the condition, in which the workpiece is sized by the first stand, but not the following one, and when the tension in the workpiece has reached a reference value. The differential value between the reference value and the stored value is multiplied by a correction coefficient (K), after the workpiece has been seized by the following stand. This determines the actual tension acting onto the work piece between the two stands. A difference between this tension value and the desired tension value actuates a change in rolling speed.</p> |
