The lifting gear has a telescopic section (14) which allows the inner section (10) to slide up and down inside it. A number of catches (15) are fixed to the section (14). The telescopic section is operated by means of the rotating screw (12). This is operated at the base by a motor. Two trestles (23) rest on legs (21) at one end and have hooks at the other. The hooks rest on the rod (24) attached to the vertical section (14). The container brackets (28) may be supported at the sides of the telescopic section (10).
