PURPOSE:To provide a printer in which a slip can be prevented from being unintentionally moved relatively to a paper holder and a printing position can be accurately determined, by providing a paper pressing controlling cam for retractting from a paper presser a clamp-releasing body for elastically pressing the slip against the paper holder, the cam being rotated in synchronism with a line feed controlling cam. CONSTITUTION:A feeding gear 19 is engaged to a feeding rack 12 fixed to the paper holder 3, and is reciprocated one time by rotating one time the line feed controlling cam 34 driven by a motor, thereby reciprocating the paper holder 3. By this, the operation of printing in a plurality of lines on the slip 4 is facilitated. In addition, the paper presser (a leaf spring) 10 and the clamp-releasing body 25 for retracting the paper presser 10 from the paper holder 3 are provided, and the paper pressing controlling cam 37 rotated in synchronism with the cam 34 is provided. Immediately before moving the paper holder 3 in the line- feeding direction from a home position, the clamp-releasing body 25 is retracted from the paper presser 10 by the cam 37, and the slip is pressed by the paper presser 10. Accordingly, the slip 4 can be securely prevented from being unintentionally moved relatively to the paper holder 3. |
