PURPOSE:To enable the measurement of the distance among three points in a complicated shaped cubic body by having the arithmetic means operating the distance of No.1 point, No.2 point and No.3 point and the display means displaying the output of the arithmetic means thereof. CONSTITUTION:An automatic distance measuring instrument has an arithmetic means calculating the distance of No.1 point, No.2 point and No.3 point and the dispaly means displaying the output of the arithmetic means thereof. The measured value of each detecting instrument 4, 7 and 9, detected at the time when the tip of a sensor 10 is brought into contact with No.1 measuring point, is stored into the memory device. Next the tip of the sensor 10 is brought into contact with the No.2 measuring point. The position of No.2 measuring point is measured by the detecting device and the distance from the memory means to No.2 point is operated. With this device, the distance among three points in the cubic body of complicated shape can be measured. |
