PURPOSE:To obtain the smaller size of a device, larger image screen, higher density recording and higher additive value by providing a recording medium on which the light beams deflected individually by plural deflecting means are respectively irradiated. CONSTITUTION:The titled image forming device is so constituted that the laser beam outputted from a semiconductor laser 13 is moved by an optical scanner consisting of a polygonal mirror 15, etc. so as to scan the region equal to the writing width l1 on a photosensitive drum 1. The laser beam outputted from a semiconductor 23 is moved by an optical scanner consisting of a polygonal mirror 25, etc. so as to scan the region equal to the writing width l2 on the drum 1. The number of the reflecting faces of the polygonal mirror and the number of revolution thereof are thus made equal and if the two polygonal mirrors are used, the oscillation width of the laser beams is made half and the optical path length is reduced approximately to 1/2 and therefore the size of the device is reduced. The recording density is made twice higher and the good image is obtd. The polygonal mirror having the doubled number of the reflecting faces is also usable and the reduction of the number of revolution of the polygonal mirror by half is also possible. |
