PURPOSE:To enable printed substrates to be easily separated with high speed by lifting the downstream side of the leading printed substrate higher than the height of a stopper only by the vertical and lateral movement of an adsorbing pad and transferring it onto the transfer surface of a take-out rail. CONSTITUTION:While continuous printed substrates 7, 8 receive an advancing force from a conveyer 6, their flow is stopped by a stopper 9. Then, an adsorbing pad 10 is put below the downstream side of the leading printed substrate 7 from the downstream side and thereafter lifted to raise said downstream side higher than the stopper 9. Then, by advancing the adsorbing pad 10 is transferred downstream one sheet of the leading printed substrate 7 under the separated condition. Then, since the following printed substrate 8 receives the advance force from the conveyer 6, it advances as said substrate 7 advances, and is stopped by the stopper 9. Next, after the advance, the adsorbing pad 10 is lowered onto a take-out rail 11 to release the adsorbing force and transfers the printed substrate on to the rail 11. |
