PURPOSE:To compensate sufficiently propagatin distortion due to frequency selective fading by providing a phase shift circuit to a feedback loop of an equalizing circuit synthesizing a reception signal and a compensation signal and compensating the propagation distortion included in a reception line. CONSTITUTION:A signal synthesizing a reception signal and a compensation signal at a synthesis circuit 11 of an equalizing circuit 1 is inputted to an identification circuit 2. A signal subjected to 1-bit delay of in-phase data ID identified by the circuit 2 and error signals epsilonI, epsilonQ are multiplied (4, 5) and integrated (6, 7) to form control signals VI, VQ. Further, a synthesis signal from the circuit 11 is inputted to a hybrid circuit 15 via a delay circuit 12 and a phase shift circuit 16 to form a feedback loop, a distribution signal of 0 deg., 90 deg. from the circuit 15 is outputted, and the signal and the signals VI, VQ are multiplied respectively by multiplication circuits 13, 14 a compensation signal is formed, synthesized with the reception signal by the circuit 11 to compensate the propagation distortion included in the reception signal. In this case, the delay time of the circuit 12 is set optionally by adjusting the phase of the compensation signal by the circut 16 to attain the optimum compensation characteristic. |
