Raise and lowerable pillar foot

This pillar foot, which is raisable, lowerable and adjustable to the slope of the floor, consists of a central pillar (6) fitted with an adjustable footplate (7) and a pillar tube (2) fitting outside the central pillar (6). The central pillar (6) is fitted with an internal cavity (9) with a vertical rack (4) along the internal cavity (9)'s inner wall. An adjusting screw (3) is inserted through a hole (10) in the pillar tube (2); this screw (3) on its inner end, is fitted with cogs (11) designed to mesh with the rack (4), whereby the pillar tube (2) is raised or lowered, when the screw (3) is turned in the one direction or the other.
