The invention in question concerns a device for the separation of loose threads from looped material tracks, e.g. knitting tracks, via warming, in which the material track retains at least one screw-threaded fuse wire, whereby the device includes at least two break rollers (14, 15), of which at least one (15), is axially sloped in relation to that of the other roller to provide an axial movement along the break roller whereby the first set of heating units (22, 23) are arranged so that the knitting tracks are heated during their axial movement. The heating units (22, 23) consist of at least one warming unit along at least one break roller (14, 15) and which partly surround the break roller and which are swingable around an axle parallel to the break roller and going to and from the break roller; whilst another set of heating units (25, 26) are arranged to locally heat the knitting track's single upper surface, to the limit of the fuse wire's melting temperature. This second heating unit (25, 26) consists of at least one U-shaped (in section) warming chamber designed to pass freely over the knitting tracks upper edge.<IMAGE> |
