The passive circuits of the device are activated by varying magnetic fields, and do not require any separate feed of drive voltages. Circuitry for diversion of the electrostatic field caused by high acceleration voltages occurring around a cathode ray tube are also incorporated. - The device can be produced in different sizes to suit different sizes of picture screens, and built into the screen casing during prodn.
