SILVER HALIDE PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To reuse continuously a developing soln. without contaminating it by incorporating a photographically useful compound which is made unadsorbable on silver halide particles after discharge into the developing soln. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive silver halide material contains a compound producing a photographically useful compound having an adsorbable group which is made unadsorbable on silver halide particles after discharge into a developing soln. or a precursor of the photographically useful compound by a reaction with the oxidized product of a developing agent. The preferred adsorbable group is a group producing a quat. ammonium or imino ion by a reaction with the oxidized product of a developing agent. The produced photographically useful compound undergoes an intramolecular nucleophilic reaction or intramolecular electron transfer in a developing soln., reducing the absorbability on silver halide. The development retarding or accelerating effect is reduced by the reduced adsorbability, so the compound causes no side reaction even when it accumulates in the developing soln.
