PURPOSE:To improve the durability of tire by forming the belt reinforcing layer with at least two steel cord layers while providing a belt cover layer composed of specific aromatic polyamid fiber cord layer at the outside of belt reinforcing layer. CONSTITUTION:A carcass layer 2 is arranged between a pair of bead sections 4 while belt reinforcing layers 3d, 3u are arranged between the tread 1 and the carcass layer 2. Here, a belt cover layer 5 composed of aromatic polyamid fiber cord layer is provided at the outside of the belt reinforcing layers 3d, 3u such that the cords will be substantially in parallel with the circumferential direction of the tire. The fiber cord layer 5 is formed by burrying 40-70 pieces of aromatic polyamid fiber cords having the diameter of 0.55-0.65mm. per 5cm of coating rubber having 100% modulus of 30-70kg/cm<2> in the direction perpendicular with the cord. Consequently, separation at the splice portion of said fiber layer 5 can be prevented to achieve the purpose. |
