PURPOSE:To increase the pavement gripping force when travelling on unlevelled land by forming the grounding face of specific dimension in the crown center section while approximately equalizing the depth of groove in the bottom face corresponding with said grounding face to the depth of groove in the tread sections at the opposite sides of crown center section. CONSTITUTION:The curvature R1 of the grounding face 16 at the crown center section 15 occupying the central portion of tread section 10 applied with block pattern in made longer than 200mm. while made longer than the curvatures of the tread sections 10 at the opposite sides and formed in approximately flat tubular face. The depth of groove T of the groove bottom face (groove bottom width B) 18 in the tread section 10 corresponding with the grounding face 16 is made approximately same with the depth of groove of tread sections 10 at the opposite sides of crown center section 15 while the curvature R2 is made approximately same with the curvature R1 of the grounding face 16. Consequently, the grounding pressure of block contacting against the ground within the grounding width A of the crown center section 15 can be uniformed to increase the pavement gripping force when travelling on unlevelled land. |
