PURPOSE:To make it possible to simultaneously caulk a clamp member, a buckle member and a buckle base, by compressing the clamping member to deform the latter under such a condition that the clamp member through which the buckle wire is inserted is positioned within a through-hole in the buckle base. CONSTITUTION:Upon manufacture a semi-elliptic clamp member 1 formed therein a through-hole 3 in which one end of a buckle wire 5 is inserted, is loosely fitted in a substantially rectangular window hole 9 formed in a buckle base 7. At this time the buckle wire 5 is engaged and set in a guide recess 11 formed in the buckle base 7 and thereby, the clamp member 1 is positioned within the window hole 9 so that the clamp member 1 is projected upward and downward from the buckle base by a substantially equal distance. Thereafter, compression force is exerted in the direction as indicated by the arrow to effecting a caulking process for caulking between the clamp member 1 and the wire 5 and between the clamp member 1 and the base, simultaneously. |
