FRICTION TESTER OF FRICTION MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To understand the vibration characteristics of only a friction material separating with a brake by supporting the supporting shaft of a test piece holder to fit the test piece of a friction material and a vibration force pickup which is brought into contact therewith, on a machine base freely movable in axial direction and by equipping with the pressurizing mechanism to press the test piece holder toward a rotor. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 15 is rotated in the direction of an arrow mark (b) for a holder 5 driving a shaft 18 by a motor 19 and the holder 5 is approached to the rotor 15 by pushing a supporting shaft 6 via a bell crank 8 with a weight 12. Then vibration due to friction action is generated with the pressure welding of a test piece 21 on the surface of the rotor 15. The vibration thereof is detected by a vibration force pickup 23 adjoining with the test piece and abutting thereto, and the condition of the characteristic can be understood by a fitting amplifier and spectrum analyzer.
