PURPOSE:To prevent the decrease in the detecting capacity in a detecting part by comparing the detection signal outputted from a detecting means and a preset reference value and emitting an alarm when the detection signal is larger than the reference value. CONSTITUTION:The grains flowing down into a guide passage 14 by a roll 8 are supplied to a screening wind path 9 when a rice-hulling machine is started. The total number of the sampling grains is set in a count coincidence circuit 43 and only the set number of the grains are supplied to a detector 2. A grain rail 19 is thereupon glided to guide the grains by each one piece to a hull/unpolished rice detecting sensor 23 which outputs the detection signal for every passage of one piece of the grains. The detection signal from the sensor 23 is outputted to a peak value holding circuit 25 and comparators 29, 39, 63, respectively. The max. value is detected among the peak values outputted to the circuit 25 and said value is held. The signal is outputted to a setting circuit 26 for a hull discriminating voltage and is applied as a reference value for discriminating the hull to the comparator 29. The alarm is emitted from a display device 35 when the detection signal is larger than the reference value. |
