PURPOSE:To make damage to a sheet preventable from occurring in time of sheet bundle separating operation, by inserting a spatulate guide bar installed in the underside of a head into the side of a sheet pile along the underside of paperboard and, when this insertion is not going smooth, detecting it and giving a warning to an operator. CONSTITUTION:A suction plate 4 goes down, attracting a sheet of paperboard P on a topmost part, and goes little upward, whereby the paper P is pulled up aslant and a slight clearance is produced in the lower side. Next, an arm moves, a head 1 goes forward and thereby a linear head motor 8 operates, making a guide bar 2 deliver frontward, whereby this guide bar 2 is inserted into a sheet pile S froma clearance along the backside of the paper P. Then, the head 1 goes forward, entering an interval between the paper P and the guide bar 2, and finally a pusher 3 goes forward and a finger is put into the lower part of a sheet bundle separated by the head 1 whereby the sheet bundle is delivered to the left, thus one motion is finished. Here, in time of inserting the guide bar 2 into the sheet pile, if there is something a catch, a microswitch 11 operates, making a warning device operate simultaneously, and delivery of the guide bar 2 is stopped, so that any damage to the sheet, etc., is preventable. |
